Support an Organization

Buy a Scarf and Support an Organization that Works for the Future

How it works

When you order a scarf, I will donate 25% of what you pay to an organization that is close to my heart. You will be able to choose between three of them, local to where the scarves are made.

How to specify the organization when you order?

In your shopping cart, there is a little box that says “Please specify to which of the three organizations listed you wish me to donate 25% of what you pay. Thanks!”  Please type here your choice.

The Organizations

Each of these organizations actively supports local community, sustainability, diversity, global awereness, as well as responsible use and preservation of the beautiful Sedona environment.

This is why I love these three organizations:

  • Keep Sedona Beautiful has been active to keep the Arizona city of Sedona beautiful since 1972. They work to keep keeping our local highways free of unsightly litter; they work to protect our dark skies and protect the area from air noise pollution; they offer opportunities to learn about our local environment. Throughout the over 40 years I lived in Sedona, I have seen that they have been a tremendous service to make living in and around Sedona more… beautiful – for Nature and for People.  Click the link above to learn more.
  • Gardens for Humanity. Kids are our future. They need to be able to be in wonder about how nature gives and sustains all life. Since its foundation in 1996, Gardens for Humanity has worked for ecological education to help give our children and all members of our community the values, tools, and experiences needed to seek and regain balance with the natural world. Click the link above to learn more.
  • Verde Valley School Farm Program. I love international consciousness. Where better to experience the diversity of people than at an international boarding high school? VVS was founded in 1948. They have had decennia of learning and expansion, creating connections all over the world. These global connections also include the Earth on which they live: their farm-to-table program educates their students about growing food, which they use in their cafeteria. This is a real-life example of striving to the ideal of sustainability, and instill this in their students. Click the link above to learn more.
