Collection: Marigolds!

Marigolds love my garden! Besides being a wonderful plant for dyeing and garden pest control, Marigolds are globally celebrated. Colorful garlands in India. Arches and altars and pathways are decorated with Marigolds in Mexico on the Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) to guide the spirits of the deceased back to the world of the living. In Nepal, during the festival dedicated to dogs, people adorn dogs with Marigolds, for dogs are respected as protectors and guardians. In some African countries, Marigolds bring in joy and celebration with their vibrant colors. In countries like Thailand and Laos, Marigolds are offered as floral tributes to Buddha statues and shrines. Marigolds are considered sacred flowers and are used to create a sense of reverence and devotion during religious practices.
